I currently work as a literacy coach in two elementary schools. My job is to work alongside teachers to help them improve literacy instruction. I created this blog to provide teachers around the globe with information, ideas and sometimes just some reading enjoyment for teachers.
I have dreams of publishing my own children's book and am in the process of doing that. Sharing literature with children is a passion of mine and I cannot wait to make my own personal contribution to that.
I come from a large family with three sisters of my own. My parents and sisters are some of my biggest support systems. My boyfriend, Mike, is one of my biggest cheerleaders. We love to get outside and visit our local beaches with our dog, Dublin. The friends and family I have around me motivate me and make me feel that some of my lofty dreams can become a reality.
